Professional Experience

Hank Fonde leads Woodworth Core Group's asset management practice from Jacksonville and provides advisory services for operations analyses, new development, franchise relations and negotiation, brand positioning, management company referral, and contract negotiation. His consultancy also includes litigation support and service as court-appointed receiver, expert witness, and chief restructuring officer for United States Bankruptcy Court.

He is a recognized authority on the hospitality industry. Mr. Fonde previously served as president of Baymeadows Management Corporation  where he was involved for 23 years in ownership, operations, and development of 65 hotels in 12 states. The properties included most major brands and independent concepts, specializing in new development of Marriott and Hilton flags. He is experienced in acquisitions, new development, construction, capital replacement, renovations, conversions, franchise licenses, raising debt and equity, municipal incentives, grants, creative financing, zoning, and regulatory/legal issues.

He began his hospitality career with Holiday Inns, Inc., where he was involved in the development of franchised hotels and the rollout of the then-new Hampton Inn brand.  Clients include hotel companies, private developers, banks, law firms, colleges and universities, and private equity funds.

Mr. Fonde holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Jacksonville University.  He is an active member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and was awarded Developer of the Year by Hilton Worldwide in 2010.
